PALGA: Een databank plus nader-gebruik-biobank van grote waarde

 

 

Cytologie: Cytologie is een niet invasieve diagnostische methode waarvan de uitslag snel bekend kan zijn. Bovendien ook relatief goedkoop. Maar wat draagt cytologisch onderzoek bij? Is de uitslag wel doorslaggevend genoeg? Is er behoefte aan scholing, andere classificaties? Een eerste stap om deze vragen te beantwoorden is het in kaart brengen van wat in Nederland aan cytologisch onderzoek wordt gedaan. Hierbij een kort verslag van deze inventarisatie.

Bevolkingsonderzoeken: PALGA levert ieder jaar gegevens voor de evaluatie van het Bevolkingsonderzoek Baarmoederhalskanker. In de folder, opgesteld door de afdeling Maatschappelijke Gezondheidszorg van het Erasmus MC in opdracht van het Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu (RIVM), vindt u de resultaten tot en met 2015.
