Palga protocols linked to SNOMED terminology

Palga believes that the best treatment starts with the best diagnosis. Every patient in the Netherlands is entitled to the best diagnosis. Therefore, Palga is working hard to optimize pathology diagnostics and reporting by linking SNOMED CT terminology bindings to our national pathology and molecular protocols. With this linkage, Palga promotes semantic operability which significantly reduces the administrative burden. In addition, as part of FAIR, we make structured pathology data more available for secondary use.
