Palga is a foundation established by pathologists in 1971. In a long sentence, its objective is to promote communication and the provision of information within and between pathology laboratories and to make its information-related knowledge available to others in healthcare. More than 50 years on, this may safely be called forward-looking. Information exchange in healthcare has never been more relevant than today.
